Stanford University Custom Medical System

It’s such a privilege to have a hand in the innovation of medical technology in this day and age. Here at Bigfoot Mobile, we were thrilled when we were recently contracted to build a portable system for Stanford University’s Concussion and Brain Performance Center.

We custom designed this dual computer/dual monitor based cart and built it to be easily used by an operator and patient in a dual-person configuration.

These were the essentials specified by the Stanford staff:

• an easy and quick set up and breakdown

• custom dimensioning for the patients’ head-positioning gear and camera component

• singular storage to house all components of the system

• physical sizing of the system as a whole that would fit easily into their existing medical vehicle

It was a delight for our design team to work to meet all of these challenges, delivering the system on time and on the client’s budget.
